We have just completed a custom version of our Colonial Virginia Rifle. This rifle is stocked in a rock hard piece of highly figured ash which has been stained with an 18th century formula of nitric acid and hand rubbed with a soft luster oil finish. It exhibits a period correct 2 piece brass patchbox which is fully hand engraved. Also of note is the large hand made brass star cheek inlay which has also been fully hand engraved. The large siler lock has been tuned and polished for fast reliable service. The 42 inch swaped colerain 50 caliber barrel has a hand coned muzzle for fast loading and historical authenticity. This rifle also comes with a free wool gun cover.
