Here is a beautiful knife that was hand made by Shane a few years back. The 5 1/2″ blade is hand forged from 1095 spring steel. It features a hand forged “S” scrolled guard, a through tang and a hand turned iron finial on the but end. The handle was hand sculpted out of hard Sugar Maple and has beautiful curl throughout. The bolster is poured pewter and hand sculpted with the handle. The finish on the handle is aqua fortis stain and a hand rubbed oil finish. The leather sheath was also stitched by Shane and features a leather tether to secure the handle and a belt loop to accommodate a 2 1/4″ belt. Overall length on the knife is 11 inches.
