Success in the Field

George has a custom built, 54 caliber J.P. Beck rifle that we built him a few years back. He was out hunting this weekend in Pennsylvania for our early muzzleloader season when he caught a glimpse of this doe from his tree stand. She came about 40 yards away and George nailed it! He’s a traditionalist style hunter and worked up a load using a linen patch lined with bear oil, a lubed felt wad and a 520 ball. It looks like the load did its job! Congratulations George!!
