This is a very neat, original sliding lid box, commonly referred to as a candle box. This one however is dainty in size, measuring 6 1/2″ long by 3 1/8″ wide and 2 1/4″ tall. It features a dovetail style sliding lid and and the box was constructed using wrought iron nails.
