Yorktown Rifle by Brad Emig **Pending**

The Yorktown Rifle is where Cabin Creek began, and since its introduction in 1985 the Yorktown Rifle has set the standard for high quality and authenticity at an affordable price. It’s comfortable styling and good balance have made it a go-to option for decades, with a reputation of being both easy to carry and extremely accurate.

The Yorktown Rifle is based on the original work of York County, Pennsylvania gunsmiths who were working during the 1760-1780 time period, and the rifle features the iconic hardware that was originally designed by John Bivins for the 1976 bicentenial rifles.

This particular rifle is a great example of Brads work in his early years as a full time gunsmith. It features some classic York County features like the engraved brass wareplate on the forearm and the classicly engraved York Co. style sideplate.

It’s built around a .50 caliber, 39″ Green Mountain Barrel with 8 groove square bottom rifling, a hand tuned Large Siler Flintlock, and Davis Double-Set Triggers.
