Horn Container by John Proud

Beautiful decorated horn container by John Proud.  The lid is turned in the fashion of a chip carved base from a York County screw tip powder horn sitting atop the decorated container with polychromed floral scrimshaw all the way around.  It stands just over 4″ tall to the tip of the finial.
