Custom built copy of a highly decorated A. Verner rifle built by Taylor Sapergia. It is stocked in a beautiful piece of highly figured curly maple and features all of the decorative motifs that you would expect on a Verner rifle. It’s fully incise carved from muzzle to butt and features brass wire inlay around the lock moldings, forward trigger guard and toe of the rifle. It is adorned with 3 fully engraved silver inlays as well as an engraved entry pipe, toe plate and side opening patchbox. Overall, just a really well done copy with a lot of decorative features. This rifle has been well cared for throughout its life and is still in great condition.
It features a 43″ swamped barrel in .50 caliber with 6 groove rifling, and is paired up to a large siler flintlock.
