Large double edge fighting knife and sheath by Rich and Jeanne McDonald.  The knife features a 9″ double edged blade, scrolled crossguard and an ash handle with a copper wrapped ferrule.  The sheath has a very rugged design with an iron rivet construction and iron wrapped tip.  Overall length is 14 1/8″. Neat original sharpening stone holder that’s decorated and made from horn.  It was intended to carry a workers sharpening stone for their sycthe while out working the fields.  It still retains its original iron belt hook and remains in original untouched condition.  Approx. 8″ long and 2 1/4″ wide at the top.
