Here is a rare opportunity to get one of our Colonial American Fowlers that was assembled by Brad “In The White” and is ready for finishing. This piece is available for you to take home to your shop, customize and finish to your liking. It is based on a surviving example believed to have been made by John Newcomer in Hempfield Twp, Lancaster County and dates from the 1760-1780 time period.
Brad stocked this Colonial American Fowler in a piece of lightly curled maple that is paired up with cast brass mounts in an eastern Pennsylvania style. It sports a 42″ octagon to round, 20 ga barrel from Colerain Barrel Company, a Large Siler Flintlock and a Davis single trigger. The front sight has been soldered on and is a silver blade style fowling sight.
