45 caliber iron mounted “Tennessee Rifle” or “Southern Mountain Rifle”. This rifle is unsigned, but it features a 42″ Getz 13/16″ barrel with 7 groove round bottom rifling in 1/56 twist, a hand coned muzzle, a large Siler flintlock and double set triggers. It is stocked in curly maple and features aged iron mounts throughout. This rifle measures approx. 58″ in overall length and has a 13.5″ trigger pull. This rifle has seen some good use and has the patina and aging to match.
