This is a Brand New, unfired Bedford County Rifle by John Bergmann. It’s stocked in a nice piece of curly maple and fully decorated, featuring relief carving, german silver mounts, inlays and pierced patchbox, all with Bedford Co style hand engraving. The attention to detail is exhibited throughout the entire build, even down to the wood screws being “clocked” and fire blued. This rifle is still in Like New condition and has been well cared for.
It features an L&R Flintlock, Davis Double-Set Triggers, and a Green Mountain Barrel with 8 Groove, square bottom rifling.
It has an overall length of 58″ with a 42″ barrel, and a 13 7/8″ long trigger pull.
It weighs in at 8 lbs 8 oz.
