54 caliber Kibler Colonial American Longrifle assembled by Don Bruton. The Colonial Longrifle comes with a standard trigger pull of about 13 5/8”, a drop of approximately 2 3/4” and cast off of approximately 3/16″. The 43 1/4″ long Rice barrel was custom ordered with Radius Groove Rifling and the muzzle was then hand coned here at the shop for ease of loading. Some other features Don added to the rifle are a forestock molding and buttstock molding as well as a nicely styled toe plate. The rifle has been hand finished with a traditional nitric acid stain and hand rubbed oil finish.
