58 Smoothbore by Don Bruton

58 caliber Smoothbore by Don Bruton.  For the bones of this build Don used a Round-Faced English flintlock from Kibler that he paired up to a 42″ octagon to round barrel from Colerain Barrel Co. It’s stocked in a nice piece of aged Black Walnut and features hand made iron mounts, a brass wrapped muzzle and a copper wrapped wrist “repair”. The single trigger was hand made by Don, as well as the heart shape silver front sight.  Overall this is just a really neat looking fowling piece with just the right amount of aging and patina. It has been very lightly used since it was built and has been well cared for, remaining in excellent condition.

Included with the purchase of this smoothbore is a .562 ball mold, hand cast round balls, 2 ball bags, patches, and wads.  Plenty enough to hit the range and get shooting!
