This is an original iron beam hook, also referred to as a “Betty Lamp” hook. These were designed to be driven into a beam to allow for the hanging of Betty lamps or other lighting devises. They make great hooks for bags, horns and other accouterments as well. This is a nice robust design and remains in very good condition.
