This is a really nice 18th Century style Belt Axe with tons of character. The head is very well proportioned at 4 5/8″ long with the cutting edge 2″ tall. There are decorative moldings filed on the blade and the poll. The Hickory handle is 13″ long and exhibits distressing with great color. The head is also well “aged” and has great balance and feel.
