This is a used, custom built, Lehigh County style rifle that was built by an unknown maker. It has been stocked in a nice piece of curly maple and features a 44″ Douglas Barrel that has just recently been freshed with a .50 caliber liner by Bobby Hoyt. The lock is a Haddaway, which features a set screw in the tumbler that can be adjusted to change the sear engagement. The trigger pull falls right in at 13 3/4″ long. As well as being a good shooter, this rifle is also fully decorated with carving and a 2-piece engraved patchbox.
