Daniel Winkler Belt Knife and Sheath SOLD

This is a belt knife and sheath made by famous knife maker Daniel Winkler. The blade is 7″ long with the knife having an overall length of 12″. The curly maple pistol grip handle is extremely efficient and comfortable to use. It features a fully tapered tang, a rawhide wrap and antique steel cobbler’s tacks.
The knife features a custom made sheath by Karen Shook. It’s a Rawhide covered sheath with vegetable tanned leather inner pocket with hand sewn rawhide wrap. The decoration is a loomed bead panel on the front of the sheath, Deer hide thongs decorated with glass beads, tin cones and horse hair, as well as a full rawhide cover and rawhide fringe belt loop.
This is an extremely well made set that offers a lot of quality and a realistic 18th Century look.
