This is a copy of an original Iroquois War Club made by Shane. It is referred to by some as the Effigy Panther Head. It is made of hard curly maple and finished with period stains and finishes. The carved panther head that is biting down on the ball is painted like the original. The panther head and ball are black but were worked back to show some wear. The eyes and teeth are painted white and the gums are red. The overall length is 20". The club features a hand braided wrist strap and bead decorations as well as a hand carved human ear and finger to represent war trophies.
