This is a unique and beautifully crafted powder horn by Mike Small. It has been scraped nice and thin, giving the horn a feather like weight and the ability to see through the horn to check your powder level. It has great form, a beautifully shaped and faceted spout and a nice touch of scrimshaw near the base plug. The horn measures about 14″ on the outside curve and has a very nicely carved plug in the spout. The base plug is traditional hard Pine and the horn comes with an adjustable leather strap with an iron buckle and an iron accoutrement ring.
