This is a perfect example of an original horn that you would want to carry every day while out in the field. It features a beautiful curve and twist that makes it wrap right around your body and snuggle in close. The yellowish-green patina covers the entire horn and gives it a nice warm feel. The horn measures 12" on the outside curve and 2 3/4" across the base plug. The base plug has an iron nail for attaching a strap while the spout has a raise carved band to hold the strap in place. This is an air tight horn that you can fill up and head out into the woods and get many more years on enjoyment out of. The horn does not have a plug so you can make and fit whatever style you would like to match your personal taste.
