Queen Anne Dish Top Candle Stand SOLD

This is a wonderful, solid Mahogany, 18th Century reproduction by the Biggs Company, which operated in Richmond Virginia. Biggs was bought out by Kittinger many years ago and both companies made “Colonial Williamsburg” reproduction furniture of the highest quality. Both companies are long out of business and their surviving furniture is scarce and highly desirable. This early Queen Anne style candle stand displays great form and wonderful condition, with no major damage or repairs. It retains all of its original color and finish with only minor surface wear resulting from many years of careful usage. A table of this size is just perfect, as it is able to blend well into any interior or room. The overall height is 26 5/8″ and the top diameter is 18″ with a well pronounced molded lip. All joints are tight and sturdy as well.
