Mike was proud to send us these photos of his Doe kill in the early 2011 Flintlock season here in PA. This is the first deer that Mike has ever taken with a flintlock rifle and it just so happened to be with his .54 caliber Virginia Rifle that we just completed for him. The rifle was stocked in Presentation Quality Curly Maple and has a 2 piece brass box that is nicely engraved. It also has a star in the cheek piece and a wrist inlay with his initials. Were pretty sure Mike had as much fun with his first kill as we did building him the gun to make it happen! Good job Mike!
